Meet Gila Jarom (47) – Project manager, IT
Employed with TPE for 10 years
The basic element to all that TPE works with is efficiency improvement. This means that we are constantly on the lookout for new ways to contribute to lifting our members higher by energising their non-strategic purchasing. This of course applies to all our IT-initiatives - whether they are internal and aim to optimise our own processes, or they are external and aim to more directly ensure our members as simple, fast and user-friendly access to our member portal as possible”. ”TPE’s mission has always been the same: we want to streamline the way our members run their non-strategic purchasing. In practice this means that it is deeply ingrained in our DNA that the members come first, and thus we aim to optimise and innovate the way they think of IT and compliance, travel management and expense management. Overall TPE spend a lot of time asking the important questions and helping our members find the answers, which then enables us to provide the exact digital initiatives necessary, which means better insight and streamlining of the processes of the members”.

”When I started at TPE 10 years ago, I was not really familiar with the company beforehand. I was approached by a former boss of mine who rather than offer me a reference offered me a job. Since then I have not looked back, only forward. TPE is a small company with room for differences in the sense that if you like taking on challenges and trying new things, you are allowed to explore new sides to both yourself and your job”.

”At the same time TPE is also a company where everyone get on really well, across departments as well. We help each other out and care about each other, and it is my impression that everyone has a broad network across the whole house where we as a group are good at checking in with each other. There is a natural openness where we talk about our everyday life, are friendly with each other and have fun, but always with a good balance and respect for other’s boundaries”.

I was originally trained in trade and office work, so the work I do today with internal support, where I for example check that systems operations are running as planned, and managing major back-office projects, where I describe incoming requests to the developers, then test everything and make sure it is put into production, are all competences I have acquired during my years with TPE.
