Following an extended negotiation process, TPE has decided to continue its long-standing partnership with Chinese travel provider DTG Travel Lufthansa City Center. The new agreement, signed shortly before Christmas, marks a renewal of the collaboration originally established in 2016.
The decision follows a comprehensive market review in which TPE explored alternative options, including one of China’s largest travel providers and a major global player. As discussions progressed, TPE re-engaged with DTG, and it soon became evident that a revised agreement could better reflect current needs and expectations. This led to a series of mutually agreed adjustments that now form the foundation of the renews partnership.
The said new agreement reinforces TPE’s continued presence in China and ensures that members benefit from a partner with deep knowledge of the TPE model and a proven and well-documented ability to deliver on quality, reporting, and data security.
